The Systems Assessment™  ·  30-Day Engagement

See your whole business in 30 days.

For the owner who’s tired of fixing the wrong thing.

You keep fixing the thing in front of you. Three months later, you’re fixing it again. You’re in the weeds — and from there, it’s hard to see the whole picture. The Systems Assessment is where we zoom out: see the business as a whole, find the real challenges holding you back, and design the fix — so it can start carrying its own weight instead of you.

Intrigued? You’re in the right place.

Applying isn’t buying — it starts a 30-minute fit call. No pitch, no obligation.

In 4 sessions
Your whole business, on the table.

All six systems read against your real numbers — including the pricing you’ve been setting from the gut.

In 30 days
The Architecture Report — and more.

Snapshot, Constraint Map, Master Blueprint, Strategic Plan — plus the working tools that turn them into action. Yours to keep.

The risk
Worth it — or it’s free.

If I don’t find a real constraint and a first move worth $7,500, you don’t pay.

The real cost

The expensive mistake isn’t moving slowly. It’s building on the wrong read.

Why this exists

If you’ve thought “I should be further than this” — that’s the signal.

It’s not a discipline problem. It’s not the wrong tactic. It’s not one more hire, or one more brutal quarter.

Your business runs on six systems, and they don’t always fail loudly. One of them quietly drags on the rest — until you’re working twice as hard for the same result, and you’ve become the glue holding it all together. Step away for two weeks and things start to slip.

That’s why we look at all six. Strengthen the right one — and the math of the whole business changes.

A leadership team working through their systems together

The damage rarely shows up as one big breakdown. It bleeds — quietly, in the same three places at once.

Your team

Their capacity drains into busywork and rework. The creative work you hired them for never gets the room it needs — so you’re paying full salaries for a fraction of the output, and they’re not enjoying the work as much as they’d like.

You

You’re the bottleneck — and the memory of the business. Decisions wait on you, and they get made from the gut instead of the data. You take work home, lose sleep over numbers you can’t quite see, and spend your days on work that’s beneath the value you bring — disconnected from the reason you started this in the first place. It’s still there — but you’ve lost touch with it.

Your clients

Things slip through the cracks. You chase money you’re already owed. The experience depends on who handled it that day — little is documented, follow-ups get missed, and clients who should stay for years quietly drift away.

Adam Schneider, founder of Voice & Impact
Who you’re working with
Adam Schneider
Founder, Voice & Impact  ·  Head of Strategy & Systems

I’ve spent the last decade inside mission-driven businesses watching the same pattern over and over: real vision, real talent, running on systems held together with duct tape and goodwill. The growth would come, and then the growth would start to cost more than it returned. The owner would get pulled deeper in instead of further out.

I started Voice & Impact because I kept watching that pattern break good people. I believe business is a vehicle for contribution, not just profit — and the leaders contributing the most were the ones most trapped: bold missions running on broken systems. The gap was never vision. The gap was infrastructure. I built this company to close it.

So I built the Voice & Impact Architecture™ — a working model of how a business really behaves — and the Systems Assessment is the way in. Four sessions. All six systems. Against your real numbers. No frameworks-as-decoration. No homework theatre. Just a clean read so you can see clearly what you’re working with — from a 10,000-foot view.

I lead every Assessment personally. You’ll be in the room with me — not an associate, not a process. That’s the only way this works.

Honest qualifier

Who this is built for.

If two or more of the first list sound like a Tuesday afternoon in your business, the Assessment was built for you. If anything in the second list sounds like the engagement you want, we’re not for you.

For you, if…

You’re past startup mode — ideally $2M–$10M+, mid-market to enterprise — and the growth is starting to cost more than it returns. (Smaller engagements considered case-by-case.)

You can’t fully explain why the business works. Or why it sometimes doesn’t. The wins feel like luck. The losses feel like fate. So you’re taking work home, losing sleep, and your team is feeling stretched thin.

You’re the bottleneck and you know it. You also can’t see how to cut yourself out without the whole thing tipping over.

You’ve tried frameworks, masterminds, courses, out-of-the-box CRMs. They felt great for two weeks. Nothing stuck. The pattern keeps coming back wearing a different shirt.

You have a great team, but they rely on you too much — and you’re blind to the spots holding the company back.

You’re not clear on key metrics — Lifetime Value, Cost of Acquisition, Churn, Net Revenue Retention — or you don’t fully trust the ones you have.

Your tools are duct-taped together. Software that doesn’t talk, manual workarounds, no single source of truth — you can’t pull a clean answer at the click of a button, and the technology that should be carrying the business isn’t. (This is where we make the most impact.)

The business runs on people, not systems. Key knowledge lives in a few key seats — and there’s no clear path to standardize what those people know so the team can run without them.

Not for you, if…
×

You want a quick website critique.

×

You want a cheap audit.

×

You want someone to validate what you already decided.

×

You aren’t willing to share the real numbers.

×

You want tactics before truth.

×

You’re looking for a vendor, not a thinking partner.

Read the symptoms

Six systems. Each one has a tell.

When a system is leaking, you feel it somewhere specific — on your calendar, in your team’s energy, on the books. If two or more of these read like your inner monologue, every dollar you’re spending on growth is leaking out the back of the business.

Open each system and read its tell. Count the ones that sound like home.

01 Identity Define Meaning

Ask three people for the vision, mission, and values and you’d get three different answers — if you’d get one at all. The brand looks and sounds a little different everywhere it shows up, and wrong-fit clients keep getting through, because the line on who you’re for and who you’re not isn’t clear. Big decisions get made without a north star, so the business drifts toward whatever opportunity shouts loudest.

02 Financial Maximize Resources

The revenue’s up, but the bank balance doesn’t show it. It’s hard to say cleanly which clients, products, or segments make you money — or which winners are quietly carrying the losers. Pricing gets set from the gut, not from what the business needs to thrive, and forecasting the next quarter is more hope than math. It’s the unpredictability that keeps you up at night.

03 Infrastructure Enable Capacity

Ask a straightforward question, and the answer takes a week. The stack is duct-taped together — tools that don’t talk, manual workarounds everywhere — so a clean LTV is a guess and CAC isn’t a number anyone can hand you. The technology that should automate the journey for your clients and carry the daily work for your team just doesn’t, so everything leans on the few people who know where things are buried.

04 Relationship Create Alignment

This is the human layer of the business — and it runs on invisible contracts. Unspoken expectations about responsibilities, what good looks like, and what happens when something slips. Good people wait for direction, decisions funnel back to you, and with clients every unspoken mismatch quietly chips away at the relationship. As long as the expectations stay invisible, trust never compounds the way it should.

05 Operational Deliver Value

Quality depends on who’s running the job. There are SOPs, but they’re scattered — so every project reinvents the wheel, onboarding drags on, and the wins all trace back to a few heroes, while every real problem still escalates to you. The creative spark drains as burnout builds. Things feel messy and rely too much on you.

06 Communication Drive Engagement

It’s spray and pray — or silence. Newsletters go out (if you’ve got time), social gets posted (when you remember, and who knows if it’s doing anything), automated emails fire — or were never built at all. There’s no communication strategy underneath it — no campaigns designed to move people to act, no thread tying one message to the next. You’re either loud without knowing what lands, or quiet while your audience forgets you.

The structure

This isn’t a framework. It’s a living model.

The Voice & Impact Architecture™ is six interlocking systems — not a checklist and not a one-and-done. It’s a living ecosystem that represents how every business functions: six systems that either compound your effort or eat it. Usually both, in different places.

We map the whole circuit, then find where the systems are falling short.

Strengthen one — and you change the math of the whole business. Strengthen them all, and you’re playing a different game.

What changes when you can finally see it

Scatter becomes focus.

Thirty days doesn’t rebuild the business — the rebuild is the Build phase, the engagement that can follow the Assessment (with us, or run by your own team). What the Assessment gives you first is something you can’t buy any other way: focus. The whole picture, the constraints that matter, and the order to move them in. Here’s what that looks like from your chair.

Monday morning · the Snapshot

You know exactly where you stand.

Every system scored against your real numbers — what’s strong, what’s leaking, and what each leak is costing you. The week starts from facts, not feelings.

Looking at the books · the Economics Model

The numbers tell the truth — including your pricing.

You see where the money’s made, where it leaks, and whether your prices serve the business or just feel safe. And when a figure like a true LTV can’t come out of today’s data, that’s a finding, not a failure — the Blueprint designs the system that makes it knowable.

When everything feels urgent · the Constraint Map

The urgency drains out. The order takes over.

The Constraint Map shows which problems are truly holding the business back and which are just loud. You know what to fix first, what comes next, and what can safely wait — so the fire-drill feeling stops.

The road ahead · the Strategic Plan

The second-guessing goes quiet.

The Strategic Plan sequences the next 12–36 months; the 90-Day First Move Plan tells you exactly where to start. Every idea, hire, and dollar gets a filter — does it clear the next constraint? You’re not guessing. You’re deciding.

The reimagined infrastructure

Imagine an infrastructure that saves you and your team thousands of hours.

Most businesses build their systems around the client experience alone. The Master Blueprint redesigns the infrastructure your business runs on — the systems, the data, the automation, the handoffs between them — for your team, your clients, and you, at the same time. That’s where the compounding starts.

Your infrastructure Systems · Data · Handoffs
Your team

Freed from the busywork — the re-keying, the chasing, the manual updates. Their effort lines up behind what moves the needle, and the creative capacity you hired them for finally has room to work.

You

Your time comes back — and so does visibility. The numbers you need are there the moment you need them, so decisions get made from a live picture of the business instead of memory and gut. You work on the company again, not just in it.

Your clients

A seamless experience, start to finish — onboarding, delivery, follow-up — automated where it should be, personal where it matters, and tracked so nothing slips and every relationship is built to last, not just closed.

All of it pulling one direction: more done, in less time, at a higher margin — and a bigger impact for the work you’re here to do.

What you walk away with

The Architecture Report.

Four working documents — including the Master Blueprint for your rebuilt business — four working sessions, and the live readout that ties it all together. Yours to keep: run it with your team, act on it yourself, or hand it to another partner. The value holds whether or not we ever build it together.

The Architecture Report — V&I Systems Assessment, 30-Day Engagement
01

Architecture Snapshot

Every system scored against your real data — an opportunity map of where the value is, where you’re leaking, and what each leak costs in time, money, and team capacity.

02

Constraint Map

How the systems wire together — and whether the loudest problem is the real one. Sometimes it is; often something quieter sits underneath. Every constraint, mapped and ranked, so you know exactly what to move first.

03

Master Blueprint

Your business, redesigned end to end — the systems, the automation, the data, and how it all connects. A concrete picture of how the company should run, built from your numbers, so you and your team can see exactly what you’re building toward.

04

Strategic Plan

A sequenced 12–36 month plan in clear waves — what to build, in what order, and why each move sets up the next. So next year happens on purpose, not in reaction.

How it works

Four working sessions. Thirty days.

Four working sessions over thirty days, with your real numbers on the table. Your prep is light — gather the documents, show up, tell the truth. I do the analysis and synthesis between sessions; you keep running your business. You keep everything we build.

1

Discovery Session 1

We walk the business end to end: what you sell, how it’s delivered, where the money goes, who does what, and what you want this company to become. The full, honest picture — not the pitch-deck version.

Systems Deep-Dive · Part 1 Session 2

Identity, Financial, Infrastructure. What the business stands for, how the money really flows — including how your pricing was set — and whether your tools and tech are carrying their share of the work.

3

Systems Deep-Dive · Part 2 Session 3

Relationship, Operational, Communication. How the team works together, how the work gets delivered, and how you stay in front of clients and prospects — what’s working, what’s manual, what’s missing.

The Readout Session 4

I walk you through the Architecture Report live — every score, every constraint, the Master Blueprint, and the Strategic Plan. You leave knowing exactly what to do first. Then you decide what’s next.

120minutes

Outside the Twin Cities? The Assessment runs as the Immersion: three days on-site at your business for the working sessions (you cover travel expenses), then the full Architecture Readout delivered live over Zoom about two weeks later — the synthesis takes time to do right.

A simple working model built from your real financials, so you can see — in real dollars — what each offer earns, where your pricing sits, what it takes to stay sustainable, and where money’s leaking. Built as far as your numbers allow: clean books make a real model, messy ones make a directional one that flags exactly what to tighten.

  • Whether your pricing serves the business — or just feels safe

Reply within 1 business day · Twin Cities in person — or a 3-day on-site Immersion · Backed by the $7,500 Clarity Guarantee

After you apply I review your application — usually within one business day. If it looks like a fit, I’ll invite you to a 30-minute fit call (no pitch). If we both want to move forward, we sign the agreement, settle the investment, and your start date is reserved.

The Assessment is the only place we start. I don’t take Build clients without it — because I won’t build into a business I haven’t seen whole.

The guarantee

The $7,500 Clarity Guarantee.

Show up. Bring the real numbers. Tell the truth.

That’s your whole side of the deal. Mine: if I don’t find the constraints holding you back, show you what they’re costing in hard dollars, and hand you a first move worth several times what you put in — you don’t pay.

You keep the entire Architecture Report either way. I return the investment.

Either it’s worth several times the fee — or it’s free.

Where it applies: show up to all four sessions, share the real numbers, engage honestly — and if the work doesn’t surface constraints worth several times the fee, you don’t pay. Where it doesn’t: the guarantee covers the quality of the diagnosis, not the decision to act on it. It isn’t honored if sessions are skipped or cut short, if the numbers never make it to the table, or if the work is delivered and you simply choose to leave the plan in a drawer.

Common questions

Things owners ask before they apply.

How is this different from EOS, a fractional COO, or a cheaper audit?

Different jobs. EOS gives you a cadence to run the business you already have. A fractional COO operates it. A cheap audit hands you a scorecard and leaves. The Systems Assessment is the design step none of them do — it reads all six systems against your real numbers, maps and ranks your constraints, and hands you the Master Blueprint to rebuild around. It’s the thing the others quietly assume you already have.

What if I already know what’s broken?

Good. We’ll test it against the whole Architecture. Sometimes the thing you see is a real constraint. Sometimes it’s only the symptom of something upstream. Either way, you leave with the math.

Do I need clean books or perfect data?

No. Clean data helps, but honest data is enough to start. If something’s messy or missing, we’ll work with what you have and flag what to tighten up along the way.

Can my team join the sessions?

Yes. The owner should be present for all four sessions. Key team members can join the parts where their context matters — ops, finance, sales, whoever owns the area we’re looking at.

What’s the time commitment between sessions?

Light. Plan for 1–2 hours of prep per session — mostly gathering numbers and answering a few targeted questions. I do the heavy synthesis between sessions, not you.

How quickly can we start?

Two Assessments start each month. If the current month’s slots are full, the next start date is the following month. Once you apply, we usually schedule the fit call within a few business days.

What does applying commit me to?

Nothing. Applying starts a 30-minute fit call — no pitch, no deck, no obligation. You’re deciding whether you want me looking at your business; I’m deciding whether it’s a good fit for me too — whether I can find something worth several times the fee, and whether we’d work well together. Either of us can say no, and plenty of those calls end with a referral somewhere better suited.

How does the guarantee work?

Simple. Show up to all four sessions, share the real numbers, and engage honestly. If I can’t find constraints worth several times the fee — with a first move to match — you keep the Architecture Report and I return the investment. The guarantee covers the quality of the work, not the decision to act on it: it doesn’t apply if sessions are skipped, if the numbers are withheld, or if the diagnosis is delivered and simply left in a drawer.

Why is the Assessment paid, instead of a free consult?

Because free “discovery” is usually a sales call wearing a helpful hat. The Assessment is real work that produces a real asset — the Architecture Report is yours to keep and act on, with us or without us. Charging for it is also how I protect the depth: four full sessions and a complete read, not a pitch. And if it doesn’t earn its keep several times over, you don’t pay.

What size businesses do you typically work with?

My best work lands with established mission-driven businesses past the startup grind — typically $5M to $50M+. Mid-market and enterprise organizations tend to get the most out of this engagement: the constraints are structural, the leadership team can move on a clean diagnosis, and the cost of fixing the wrong thing scales fast.

I consider smaller engagements ($500K–$5M) case-by-case when there’s a clear strategic fit.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, gladly. Confidentiality is the baseline. Send me yours, or I’ll send mine.

Can sessions happen remotely?

Yes — but I prefer in person. The conversation goes deeper and the synthesis is sharper when we’re in the same room. If you’re in the Twin Cities, we’ll plan for in-person. Further out, the Assessment converts to the Immersion: three days on-site at your business for the working sessions (you cover travel expenses), with the full Architecture Readout delivered live over Zoom about two weeks later. Zoom-only works when geography demands it, and the work is still the same.

What happens after the Assessment?

You can build with us, run the Strategic Plan yourself, or hand the Architecture Report to your team or another partner. The work is yours either way. If we continue into a Build, your $7,500 investment credits in full toward that engagement.

Why do you require the Assessment before a Build?

Because I won’t build into a business I haven’t seen whole. Every Build moves something structural — doing that without the full read just rebuilds the same constraint, more expensively.

Make growth inevitable.

Not by working harder. Not by buying another framework. By seeing the whole business clearly — every system, every leak, every connection — and fixing the right things in the right order, until it runs on its structure instead of your stamina.
